Growing up, my dad served in the military so we moved around a lot in my early childhood years. Once my dad ended his military service, my family settled down in Saratoga Springs, Utah, and this is where I call home.

Being the oldest of five children, I have had a lot of opportunities to care for my younger siblings and gain some teaching experiences in the home. During these years, I was introduced to the world of music as I began learning to play the flute. The flute has brought me so much love and joy, and I continue to enjoy I today and I teach private flute lessons and share what I love about music with those I teach.

Upon graduating high school, I left to serve a mission for the LDS church. Here, my love for teaching others grew and I developed a desire to make education a continual part of my life.

I have been blessed to be able to work here at Noah Webster Academy where I can be in a learning environment each day. I work here while attending college at Utah Valley University where I am studying Elementary Education.

I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to work close to school and home where I live with my new husband, the love of my life. Being married to him has been such an exciting adventure, and while we are still new to the world of marriage, it has been so wonderful to be able to share this learning experience with him. I have been able to experience many of the joys life has brought me each day, and I look forward to a joyous lifetime of adventure ahead.
