Instructor - Phillips

Mrs. Phillips
Classroom Instructor

I am originally from South Korea, but I have lived in New York, Michigan, and China before settling in Utah.  I have two sisters and two brothers who all live in Korea.

I have four children and a husband who teaches Economics at BYU. I met my husband in Korea while working for a firm and studying English, and we have been married for 32 years.

I enjoy listening to opera, gardening, visiting foreign countries, reading, and especially learning about and teaching mathematics. I love discovering new things and sharing my experiences with my scholars.

I have worked as an ESL tutor for the Alpine School District, a substitute teacher at Nanjing International School while living in China, and a private math tutor.

I have been working at Noah Webster Academy since 2006.  My goals as an instructor are to make sure your scholars feel loved, help them develop a sense of curiosity, and instill in them a love of learning.
