I was born in Hawaii, but raised in sunny San Diego until I moved to Utah, where I currently reside. I am the oldest of three siblings; I have two younger brothers, and my mom, still lives in San Diego and we have told her that she is not allowed to move, because it gives my brothers and I the perfect excuse to go back to San Diego, to go home.

I graduated with my Associate Degree in Humanities-Fine Arts from Grossmont College in San Diego; since then I am currently attending Utah Valley University where I am a double major in: Psychology and Art Education, for a Masters Degree in Art Therapy. I find myself to be a bit ambitious, because after I receive my Masters Degree, I do plan to earn a Ph.D. at least in Psychology, but possibly in Art History as well. The future holds many paths, and I am excited to explore them one day, but for now, I will stay the course until the time comes.

I have worked at Noah Webster Academy for almost five years. It has become a second home to me. Prior to this, I had not worked in education itself. I was a nanny for various families and worked as a receptionist at a Music School in San Diego before NWA.

My sister-in-law and I agree that our dream job would be get paid to travel and to eat. Growing up in San Diego, you gain a great love for the outdoors and especially the sun. With this type of weather, it becomes easy to explore and find many adventures, if you know where to look – I love rich cultures: people, food, traditions, etc. I love art, but have found much joy in photography. I don’t think myself a great photographer, but I do think I am somewhat decent. I do enjoy a good book and movies; the list of which is too long.
