I grew up in Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University after studying Elementary Education. Though I have yet to see many of the amazing sites of Utah (I usually took my holiday outside of Utah), I was able to view the Grand Canyon for a moment while flying overhead towards the United Kingdom. As I love to learn of other nations and cultures, this was a special time for me to observe the people and history of the United Kingdom; it was also quite interesting to learn what they thought of our nation. J

I have always loved history, and feel that it is important for children to know of their heritage and the Founding Fathers who established this great nation. I have a deep sense of patriotism and duty to The United States and strive to incorporate this in my teaching. As the children learn of their Founding Fathers and the history of the United States, their love for their country and their personal character develop to reflect the moral character and virtues of their Forefathers.

I find that one of the greatest joys in life is when I serve others. As a teacher, I find that I and my students serve each other every day. I have learned wonderful things from every student I have taught and I strive to share with them, the wisdom I continue to gather and seek throughout my journey in life. This will be my first year at Noah Webster Academy and, as with any new adventure in life, I am both excited and nervous! I was impressed with the name of the academy and the vision that it has to offer. I look forward to working with the staff and students of Noah Webster Academy and the marvelous students I will be working with.
