202 - Ms. Perkins

Ms. Perkins

2nd Grade
Extension 202
Room 202

I grew up in a small town in Southwest Colorado close to mountains, lakes, and all the activities they provide. I participated in a number of sports and activities, mainly tennis, dance, basketball and color guard. I moved to Orem and graduated from BYU in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL). During my college years, Hawai’i and Texas were places where I learned to love different cultures, and different ways of thinking. Being with the Polynesian and Hispanic cultures brought to my attention my love for learning and being immersed in new cultures.

I love NWA! I have been in a few different schools and I haven’t found one that matches NWA in their value of family here. The staff is hard-working, uplifting, goal oriented, and are more than willing to help each other. The scholars work hard and are proud of the progress they have made!! This is the best school I could ever work for!
