2nd Grade - Perkins

Hello Parents!
What a great week we've had! We learned how to read a map, locate natural features, use a compass rose, and locate Utah on a map, write paragraphs using detail, and contractions. They've learned so much and worked very hard. I'm so proud of the progress they are making.

This coming week we will learn more about paragraph writing, proper nouns, seasons, and self esteem!

This week is also our Field Trip!! We are all so excited for this. We are still needing a few volunteers if you are available. Please remember to send your scholar to school with a sac lunch, water, a jacket, and good walking shoes. We'll be walking a lot on Wednesday.

Our scholastic book orders are open until Thursday so I can order them Friday and we'll have them before Halloween! They have some great Halloween and Thanksgiving books out right now. The next book order we'll have will be in December.

Thank you for sharing your children with me for this school year. They are truly amazing human beings and they bless my life everyday. Thanks for all you do!

Have an amazing week and don't forget to look at the photo gallery for a link to class pictures that have been taken so far!
