2017-2018 New Student Enrollment

Students seeking enrollment at Noah Webster Academy for the first time, or for re-admission, must complete the Intent to Enroll Application on the school's website (Click Above). To attend kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year, a student must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2017. This is a state law and no exceptions can be made.

Webster Academy welcomes applicants for kindergarten through sixth grade. Seats at Noah Webster Academy are filled in the following order:

(1) Children of NWA founding members listed on the charter
(2) Children of full-time NWA staff
(3) Currently enrolled students
(4) Siblings of currently enrolled students
(5) Applicants admitted by the lottery process.


Enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year opened on January 17, 2017 at 9:00 am. Apply by clicking on the blue button above. All applications received before February 22 will be entered into a random lottery held on Thursday, February 23, 2017. Lottery results will be emailed no later than end of day on February 24, 2017. 

If accepted in the lottery, parents will be given instructions on how to register. Registration is due on Friday, March 10, 2017. Students not accepted in the lottery will be placed on a numbered wait list for future enrollment as seats become available.

Applications will continue to be accepted for the 2017-2018 school year after the lottery has been held. These applicants will be seated (if open seats are available) or added to the end of current wait lists. It is common for applicants to move up through the wait lists during the spring and summer months. As positions become available, you will be contacted by email and given instructions to complete registration.


If accepted from the lottery or wait list, parents will be notified by email. Noah Webster Academy will attempt to contact families two times. If a family cannot be contacted or does not respond by the deadline (see chart below), the space will be offered to the next family on the lottery list. Deadlines are calculated as follows:

Registration should be completed online. A link to the registration form will be sent to you once your application has been approved. You will also be required to provide copies of your child's birth certificate and immunization records. Please work to gather these documents now so you will be ready to register if your child is accepted.


If a family is applying for more than one child, an application needs to be completed for each child. If one child from a family is seated (either through the lottery or from a wait list) and registers to attend Noah Webster, siblings of that child will also be enrolled if openings are still available. If there are no open seats, siblings will be granted "preferred" status and placed at the top of current wait list, but below any other “preferred” siblings that may already be on the list. While this does not guarantee placement, it will reduce wait time and increase a sibling's chance of acceptance
